Rapping About a World at Risk

Darkest Night of the Year

The winter solstice has arrived. The shortest day of the year brings forth our longest night. Robert Frost memorialized this eve in his famous poem. If this be a metaphorical nadir of our slide into hard times take heart for tonight we turn a corner. The duration of night lessens with each passing sunset. Winter commences. Nature slumbers. Nocturnal time begins its descent and we have miles to go before we sleep.
